This pattern is a series of actions applying the Gon principle. Gon symbolizes Earth. The earth is the source of life. Things take life from it and grow, draining limitless energy. The earth is where the creative force of heaven is embodied. The earth is wordless, it hugs and grows everything. - Move the left foot forward. Back Stance, Fighting Stance (L) Move the left foot forward, Long Stance, Mid section reverse Punch (R)
- Spring forward off the left foot, jumping snap kick (L) Kiai (shout) Long stance, Inward Block (L) and double punch (R then L)
- Move the right foot forward, Long Stance, Mid section punch (R)
- Pivot on the right foot, turn to the left 270 degrees (face L) Long stance, Low section block (L) and high section outer forearm high block (R)
- Pivot on the right foot, turn the body to the left, Long Stance, Upset Punch (R - Slowly)
- Move the left foot backwards, X Stance, (R behind L), Pivot on the left foot, turn to the right 180 degrees (face R) Long Stance, Low section block (R) and high section inner forearm high block (L)
- Pivot on the left foot, Turn the body to the right, Long Stance, upset Punch (L - Slowly)
- Pivot on the left foot turn to the left 90 degrees, stepping backwards into back stance, knife hand guarding block (L)
- Move the left foot forward, Long Stance, mid section reverse punch (R)
- Snap kick with the right move it back to the original place, move the left foot back one step then move right foot backwards Cat Stance, Palm hand Block (R)
- Pivot on the right foot turn to the left 90 degrees, Cat Stance, Mid Section knife hand guarding block (L)
- Snap Kick with the left then step forward, Long Stance, Mid section reverse punch (R)
- Move the left foot backwards, cat Stance, Palm hand Block (L)
- Pivot on the left foot turn to the right 180 degrees, Cat Stance, Mid section knife hand guarding block (R)
- Snap Kick with the right, then step forward into Long Stance, Mid section reverse punch (L)
- Move the right foot backwards, Cat Stance, Palm hand block (R)
- Pivot on the left foot, turn to the right 90 degrees, back stance, twin forearm low section block (R)
- Snap kick with the left, then jumping snap kick (R) Kiai (shout), Long Stance, Inward block (R) then Mid section double punch (L then R)
- Pivot on the right foot, turn to the left 270 Degrees, Back Stance, outer Forearm Knife hand block (L)
- Move the left foot forward, Long stance, elbow Strike (R)
- Back fist front strike (R), then mid section punch (L)
- Pivot on the left foot turn to the right 180 degrees, back stance, outer forearm knife hand block (R)
