This pattern expresses the principle of wind. There are such winds as typhoons, hurricanes and tornadoes. But the nature of the wind is gentle. Spring breezes caress weeping willows. Wind symbolizes a humble state of mind. Actions should be performed as gentle breezes, slow yet graceful, then strong and fast like hurricanes.
- Pivot on right foot turn to the left 90 degrees, moving into long stance, Low section Block (L)
- Move the left foot to the right foot, into ready stance, Hammer fist strike to the top of head (L)
- Pivot on left foot turn to the right 180 degrees, moving into long stance, Low section Block (R)
- Move the right foot to the left foot, ready stance, Hammer fist strike to the top of the head (R)
- Move the left foot one step forward into long stance, Inward block (L), then reverse Inward block (R)
- Snap Kick with the right, the step forward into Long Stance, Back fist front strike (R) then reverse inward block (L)
- Snap Kick with the left then step forward into Long Stance, Back fist front strike (L), then reverse inward block (R)
- Move the right foot one step forward into long stance, Back fist strike (R) - Kiai (shout)
- Pivot on the right foot, turn to left 270 degrees, Back Stance, Outer Forearm knife hand block (L)
- Move the right foot one step forward, Long Stance, High Section elbow strike (R fist into L Palm)
- Pivot on the left foot, turn to the right 180 degrees, back stance, outer forearm knife hand block (R)
- Move the left foot one step forward, Long Stance, High section elbow strike (L fist into R Palm)
- Pivot on the right foot, turn to the left 90 degrees, Long stance, Low section block (L) then reverse inward block (R)
- Snap kick with the right foot, then step forward into Long Stance, Low section block (R) then reverse inward block (L)
- Pivot on the right foot, turn to left 90 degrees, Long Stance, High Section Block (L)
- Side Kick with the right and punch (R) then step forwards into Long Stance, Mid section reverse elbow strike (L elbow into R palm)
- 17. Pivot on the left foot, turn to the right 180 degrees, Long Stance, High Section Block (R)
- Side Kick with the left and punch (L) then step forwards into Long Stance, Mid section reverse elbow strike (R elbow into L palm)
- Pivot on the right foot, turn to left 90 degrees, Long Stance, Low Section block (L) then reverse inward block (R)
- Snap kick with the right, then jump forward, X stance (L behind R) Back fist front strike (R)
