This pattern concerns actions applying the thoughts and principles of Jin, Thunder. Thunder and lighting are the objects of fear and fright. The principles of Jin suggest that we should act calmly and bravely in the face of danger and fear, and then the blue sky and bright sunlight will appear. When performing Taegeuk Sa Chang show a positive mind and a brave attitude. The movements should be strong powerful opposing Jin.

Pivot on right foot turn to the left 90 degrees, Back Stance, Knife hand Guarding Block (L)

Move the right foot one step forward, Long Stance, Mid Section Pressing Block (L) the spear Finger thrust (R)

3. Pivot on the left, turn to the right 180 degrees, back stance Knife hand guarding block (R)

Move the left foot one step forward, long stance, mid section pressing punch (R) then spear finger thrust (L)

Pivot on right foot turn to the left 90 degrees, Long Stance, High section knife hand block (L) and High section reverse inward knife hand strike (R)

Snap kick with the right, the step forward into Long stance, Mid section reverse Punch (L)

Side kick with the left, then step forward into Long Stance

Side Kick with the right, then step forward into Back Stance, Knife hand guarding block (R)

Pivot on the right foot turn to the left 270 degrees, back stance, Mid section outer forearm block (L)

Snap Kick with the right, then step backwards, back stance, Reverse inward block (R)

Pivot on the left foot turn to the right 180 degrees back stance, Mid section outer forearm block (R)

Snap kick with the left, then step backwards, back stance, Reverse inward block (L)

Pivot on the right foot turn to the left 90 degrees, Long Stance, High Section knife hand block (L) and high section reverse inward knife hand strike (R)

Snap Kick with the right, then step forwards, Long Stance Back fist front strike (R)

Pivot on the right foot turn to the left 90 degrees, Walking Stance, Inward Block (L)

Mid section reverse punch (R)

Pivot on the left foot, then to the right 180 degrees, walking stance, inward block (R)

Mid section reverse punch (L)

Pivot on the right foot turn to the left 90 degrees, Long Stance, Inward block (L) then mid section double punch (R then L)

Move the Right foot one step forward, Long Stance, Inward Block (R) then mid section double punch (L then R)
